Craig Kirsch is chairman of the board of Chattanooga, Tenn.-based vending and food service provider Five Star Food Service, and also serves on the board of Houston-based Quantapoint, a laser scanning technology and service provider and Kentucky-based Metadigm Services, a provider of meter-related services to electric, water and gas utilities. Craig has more than 30 years of leadership, operating and financial experience in manufacturing, distribution and services businesses. Prior to joining NCP, Craig was involved in several successful company turnarounds. He helped grow revenues as CFO of Thousand Trails, a $110 million campground lifestyle resort company. During his tenure as chairman and CEO of Action Industries, a publicly-traded company facing liquidation, Craig reduced debt by 85 percent and operating costs by 75 percent. He also grew revenues by more than 150 percent in less than two years as CEO of Sears Dental, a $65 million in-store chain. Additionally, Craig was CFO of General Nutrition Company, a $600 million specialty retailer sold to Thomas Lee. Craig has led several private equity-backed turnarounds, including Kinko's, where he was CFO, and as CEO and chairman of the board of Princeton eCom. Earlier in his career, Craig served as executive vice president of operations in Hong Kong for Brittania Sportswear, an apparel manufacturer now owned by Levi Strauss. Here he had overall responsibility for international and domestic manufacturing operations. Additionally, Craig has worked as a CPA for Peat Marwick (now KPMG). Craig is a former lieutenant in the United States Navy. Craig received a Bachelor of Arts in business and an M.B.A. from the University of Washington. He lives in Sewickley, Pa., with his wife.
