Role is to bring his considerable experience in consumer-facing industries to bear in helping with origination, due diligence and the monitoring of investments. Chairman of Mitchells & Butlers, the leading pubs group, and a Non-Executive Director of Taylor Nelson Sofres, the market information group. For 15 years was a director of Dairy Crest, including four years as Chief Executive. For part of that time was also Deputy Chairman of Dairy UK, the trade body for the UK dairy farmers and processors. In a 36-year career has also served with HP Bulmer, PepsiCo Inc, Pedigree Petfoods and Procter & Gamble.
