Bio

Mr Zucker is a co-founder and a Managing Partner of CapEx. He is also a co-founder and partner in Black Creek Capital, a Denver-based partnership founded in 1990 that invests in operating companies, real estate and other entrepreneurial ventures. In aggregate, Mr Zucker has directed the acquisition, development, financing and sale of over 40 real estate and small business projects involving a total of over USD 250 million. During his tenure at Black Creek Capital, Mr Zucker co-founded American Real Estate Investment Corporation, a publicly traded REIT. Mr Zucker oversaw American Real Estate's initial public offering process in November 1993 and its growth through mergers with a major office/industrial developer, an institutional property management firm, a private fund primarily capitalized by Cresent Real Estate Equities and eventually Keystone Property Trust (NYSE: KTR) in 1999. Prior to 1990, Mr Zucker traded stock–index futures on the New York Futures Exchange for his own account and on behalf of outside investors.
