Bio

Managing Director in the Real Estate Group and is based in London. Since joining Blackstone in 2005, has been involved in transactions in Europe, with a specific focus on Germany. Before joining Blackstone, was a Vice President in Morgan Stanley's investment banking division, where he spent five and a half years in their Frankfurt and London offices. At Morgan Stanley, was involved in the execution of a wide variety of transactions, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, restructurings, privatisations, and equity issuances on behalf of corporate clients in diverse industries. Helped execute a number of Morgan Stanley's landmark transactions in Germany, such as the sale of Mannesmann Atecs to Siemens and Bosch, and the privatisation and initial public offering of Fraport. Studied Economics and Business Management in Paris and Düsseldorf, where he graduated among the top five per cent of his class.
