Before joining Blackstone in 2007, was an Associate and Analyst at Citigroup / Schroder Salomon Smith Barney in the UK M&A and European Real Estate & Lodging teams. Transaction experience includes advising China Development Bank on its strategic investment in Barclays, advising Terra Firma on its divestiture of Tank und Rast, advising Dubai International Capital on its partial divestiture of The Tussauds Group, advising Cinven on its purchase of Gondola Holdings (Pizza Express), advising Severn Trent and Biffa on their demerger, advising the management of Café Nero on their MBO, advising Dubai International Capital on its purchase of Travelodge, advising Dawnay Day Treveria on its IPO, advising Land Securities on its refinancing and advising Six Continents on its hostile defence, demerger and refinancing. Degree in Mathematics with Economics from University College London and received an MBA from INSEAD where he was an IFS Henry Grunfeld Scholar.
