Bio

Kent Adams has 20 years of investment banking experience in mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance. From 1991 to 2003, Kent was a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Group at Piper Jaffray, where he spearheaded several industry practice and M&A groups. Prior to joining GH&F, he served as President of Manchester Companies where his team focused on distressed and lower middle market M&A. His industry experience includes consumer/food, manufacturing, media and business, and learning services. Over the course of his career, Kent has completed over 140 investment banking transactions and advisory assignments, including mergers & acquisitions, private equity and debt placements, public offerings of equity and debt, going-private transactions and valuation advisory assignments. Recent clients have included AERO-METRIC, D.L. Ricci Corporation, Golden Oval Eggs, Goldner Hawn, Health Fitness Corporation, Med-Trans Corporation, Tescom, Northcott Companies, Samuel Lawrence Furniture, SoftPac Industries, and Tonka Bay Equity. Kent recently served as Chair for the Blake School Board of Trustees and is a former high school history teacher and coach. Kent grew up in Minnesota and is a graduate of Harvard University (BA) and the Stanford Graduate School of Business (MBA).
