Bio

Michael Madden is a co-founder and Managing Partner of BlackEagle Partners. Prior to co-founding BlackEagle, Mr. Madden was a senior partner at Questor Management Company, a private equity firm that also focused on special situation investing. While at Questor, Mr. Madden was responsible for many of the firm’s most successful investments including Geologistics (freight management and logistics), PinnOak Resources (coal mining) and Chef Solutions (specialty foods). Prior to joining Questor, Mr. Madden was a partner of Beacon Group Holdings, a merchant bank acquired by JPMorgan Chase & Co. Previously, he was vice chairman and a member of the board of directors and executive committee of PaineWebber Incorporated. Mr. Madden was also executive managing director of Kidder, Peabody, & Co., where he was responsible for all investment banking and capital markets activities worldwide. Prior thereto, he was the co-head of worldwide investment banking at Lehman Brothers Holdings. MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. BA in Economics from LeMoyne College.
