Bio

Ms Schoendorf joined MDV in 1993 and brought with her seventeen years of industry experience in a variety of engineering and executive positions with Hewlett-Packard, Software Publishing Corporation and Sun Microsystems. Her investment focus at MDV is in the areas of software and services. Her investments at MDV have included Actuate, Alphablox, Agile Software, Broadbase (merged with KANA), Datasweep, Freshwater Software (acquired by Mercury Interactive), Requisite Technology and Valdero. Ms Schoendorf began her career at Hewlett-Packard, where she developed HP-UX and its real-time extensions as engineering section manager. She later joined Software Publishing Corp, serving as vice president of product development. After that, she became director of systems software development at Sun Microsystems. Ms Schoendorf earned a BA degree (with distinction) in Computer Science and Mathematics from Iowa State University and an Master's degree (with honors) in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Santa Clara.
