Bio

Rick Gold joined InnoCal in 2004 after 29 years as an entrepreneur and executive in the semiconductor and wireless communications industries. He was previously co-founder and chairman of Radia Communications, an InnoCal portfolio company; CEO of Pacific Monolithics, Genoa and Nova Crystals; co-founder and VP/GM of Adams-Russell Semiconductors, and co-founder and VP Sales of International Microsystems. He began his career as an engineer with Hewlett-Packard. He received a BS in engineering physics from Cornell University, an MBA from Northeastern University and a PhD in electrical engineering from Stanford University. He was honored as 2002 Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum Rick currently represents InnoCal on the board of Aktino, Mojix and Vativ Technologies, and serves as chairman of CalAmp Corp. (NASDAQ:CAMP). He previously served on the boards of Massana, Nucentrix Broadband Networks and the Wireless Communications Association. He was honored as 2002 Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum.
