Bio
Sarah Orvin joined HarbourVest's primary partnership group as an associate in 2007 and focuses on U.S. venture, buyout, and mezzanine partnership investments. Sarah joined the Firm from Wachovia Securities in Charlotte, NC, where she was an investment banking analyst in the Consumer & Retail Corporate Finance Group. While at Wachovia, she was involved in all aspects of originating, structuring, and executing mergers and acquisitions and debt and equity issuances for private equity and corporate clients. Sarah received a BA in Economics and Theatre (cum laude) from Washington and Lee University in 2005.
