Bio

Mr Kalish is considered one of Israel's leading technology investors. He founded investment companies Jerusalem Global Group in 1994 and Jerusalem Global Ventures in 1999. During his leadership of Jerusalem Global, Shlomo led investments in several successful companies including: Mellanox Semiconductors, QXL, Galileo Semiconductors, Creo, Accord Video, Saifun Semiconductors, PowerDSine, and Picture Vision. In 2007, Forbes recognized Shlomo’s accomplishments by selecting him to Forbes Midas List worldwide and named him No. 1 Investor in Israel. Prior to starting his investment career, Shlomo served in the Israeli Air Force as a fighter pilot. He holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research from MIT, a M.Sc. from the Sloan School of Management at MIT and a B.Sc. from Tel Aviv University. Shlomo is active on the boards of many nonprofit and academic institutions, including Shalom Beineinu, a charitable organization he founded, the Board of Governors The Technion, The Jerusalem College of Technology, and various Chabad educational institutions.
