Bio

Co-founded Argonaut in 2005. Responsible for managing three Argonaut Alpha funds: Europe ex UK alpha unit trust launched in May 2005; Pan-European alpha ICVC launched in December 2005; and an absolute return Europe ex UK unit trust launched in February 2009. Argonaut also manages a European equity income fund, run by Oliver Russ, and funds under management are in excess of $1.3bn. Started managing money as head of European equities at Neptune, where he launched the Neptune European Opportunities Fund in November 2002 and managed it successfully until May 2005. The fund was the top performing Europe (ex UK) unit trust in 2004. MA in History from Cambridge University in 1996. MPhil in International Relations (with distinction). Trained as an investment analyst at Baillie Gifford. CFA charter holder.
