arry Lambert, Managing Director, had 21 years of experience as an industry executive before beginning his venture capital career 25 years ago. He has served on thirty boards and was a General Partner of the InnoVen group of venture funds for several years. Harry has worked with a broad list of companies in different industries, but his focus has been on communications, Internet, and software related investment opportunities, including GeoCities, Contact Software (ACT!), and SalesLogix. He currently holds board seats in several InnoCal portfolio companies. Harry was honored as Director of the Year in Southern California by The Forum for Corporate Directors (FCD) in 2006. Previously, Harry was Group Vice President of Phelps Dodge International Corp., where he served on the boards of nine companies and was responsible for Phelps Dodge's investments in seven overseas joint venture companies in Asia and Africa. He specialized in turnaround assignments. He was Chairman and/or CEO, or President of a number of companies. Subsequently, he led the parent corporation's entry into fiber optics, and was Corporate Vice President of Marketing. He later served as President of a privately-held $50 million manufacturer of products for wireless communications. Harry served in the US Air Force with Strategic Air Command and Ballistic Missile Development. Harry has a B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He also is a graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Business Administration Executive Program in Business Administration, and the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration Advanced Management Program.
