Jace Hall is a Partner at Vision Venture Partners and a member of VVP’s Executive Operating Committee, providing management oversight, strategic planning and operational guidance to each of VVP’s portfolio companies. Jace is considered a video game industry legend, having designed and published many successful game titles. He founded Monolith Productions in 1994, bringing such hits as The Blood Franchise, F.E.A.R., and Condemned: Criminal Origins to market. Jace sold Monolith to Warner Brothers in 2004, becoming Executive Vice President and General Manager of Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment. Jace took WBIE from $60m to $600m in three years with over 600 employees. In 2006, Jace helped form HDFilms. Over the next decade, HDFilms completed over 40 different projects for feature film, scripted and unscripted TV shows and short-form webisodes with many production partners. Jace has been the CEO at Echo Fox since mid-2016, providing executive oversight as the company grew from a single team competing in League of Legends to 11 teams and 40 roster players competing in 12 different eSports games.
