Mr Ahmed Joined Voyager Capital's Seattle office as a Senior Analyst in 2004. He is responsible for sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities. Prior to Voyager, Mr Ahmed was a consultant with The Mohave Group providing financial and strategic advisory services to financial institutions and growing businesses. His work ranged from investment valuation and due diligence for institutional investment firms to working with early stage businesses on planning and strategic development. Before Mohave, Mr Ahmed was with Cendant Corporation in the strategic development group in New York. At Cendant, Mr Ahmed worked on corporate mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments and the development of major corporate initiatives. Javed also spent some time with Cendant Internet Group devoted to strategic investments in emerging technology companies. Prior to Cendant, Mr Ahmed worked in investment banking with Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette in New York. Mr Ahmed has worked with clients in a broad range of industries including technology, telecommunications, hospitality, real estate, business services, paper and forestry, entertainment finance, energy, healthcare and private equity. He brings expertise to Voyager in a number of functional areas including strategic development and planning, financial modeling and analysis, valuation and investment due diligence. Mr Ahmed is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Finance and Operations Management from the Wharton School and a degree in Systems Engineering from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
