Focuses on assessing potential investee companies, deal structuring and negotiation and portfolio management and has overall responsibility for the Octopus Venture Partners. An entrepreneur who has extensive experience of working with and investing in smaller companies, and has been a member of the Octopus Investor Group for a number of years. Has founded several businesses and has also held senior roles in equity research at Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers. Also previously worked at Arthur Anderson. Represents Octopus on the boards of 21Net, iProfile, GetOptics, AQS (Soil Xchange) and TouchType. BSc (Hons) in Natural Sciences from Durham University. Chartered Accountant.
