Bio

Jon is a General Partner at Flybridge Capital Partners whose investment interests and experience include software and online services, and demand-side energy technology. He currently represents the firm on the boards of 33Across, Digital Lumens, Novophage, Open English and Virtual Computer, Inc. He also previously sat on the boards of Eka Systems (acquired by Cooper Power Systems), GamerDNA (acquired by Crispy Gamer), and (acquired by Dell) ZING Systems. Jon joined the firm the firm in October 2005 from OATSystems, an RFID software company, where he led the company's product positioning and marketing activities. Jon joined the company from Greylock, where he was an Entrepreneur-in-Residence and developed the investment opportunity in OATSystems. Before Greylock, he was General Manager for the RFID and Smart Card group and Director of Product Management at NTRU Cryptosystems, an early-stage company commercializing data encryption technology for mobile devices. Jon also spent time as an Associate with Greylock and an Equity Research Associate at Montgomery Securities. Jon holds a BA in Philosophy from Harvard University and an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
