Bio

Mr Hill is the president and CEO of Blue Star Capital, a Washington-based merchant bank facilitating private equity capital-raising for ventures in water, biotechnology and Internet infrastructure. Mr Hill also provides strategic and advisory services, and current clients include Fortune 100 senior executives and McKinsey & Co. Mr Hill will advise BSC on water and Internet transactions. Prior to Blue Star, Mr Hill was a managing director of PICO Holdings, a $200 million public investment company, where he was responsible for locating and managing global resource investments. Previously, he was a Managing Director of HSBC Securities, overseeing US investment banking in the industrial technology sector. Mr Hill has more than 18 years of senior management and operating experience with Thermatrix, Westinghouse, and Atlantic Richfield.
