Mac Grayson joined HarbourVest's primary partnership team as an associate in 2007 an became a senior associate in 2009. He is currently focused on U.S. venture, buyout, mezzanine, distressed debt, and real estate investments. His prior experience includes three years as a financial analyst in Morgan Stanley's Global Energy Group in New York, where he advised domestic and international energy companies on mergers and acquisitions, financings, and restructurings. Mac's other experience includes a position with McMaster-Carr Supply Company, an internship in the Real Estate division of Quilombo Empreendimentos e Participações in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and working as a real estate project assistant with the Boston Redevelopment Authority. He received a BA (cum laude) in Government from Harvard College in 2000 and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 2007.
