Has been active for the last fifteen years in VC investments in Germany and other European countries, Israel and the United States. From 1986 until 1992, served as investment manager and later managing partner of TVM Techno Venture Management GmbH & Co KG, one of the largest VCl companies in Germany. Established STAR at the beginning of 1992 with the objective of actively investing in Israel-related companies. Since then, STAR has made more than 150 investments and had over 45 exits in the form of IPO or sale to other corporations. Alvarion Ltd (Nasdaq: ALVR), Chiaro Networks Ltd, Identify Software Ltd, Tecnomatix Technologies Ltd (NASDAQ; TCNO). Holds a Master's degree and a Doctorate (Dr-Ing) in electrical engineering from the Department of Data Communication at the Technical University in Aachen, Germany.
