Michael Cronin

Bio

Michael joined Pomona Capital in 2010 and focuses on primary, secondary and co-investment analysis and deal sourcing in Europe. He has four years of private equity experience. Prior to Pomona, he was an Associate at Spectrum Equity Investors in Boston, where he specialised in originating, analysing and executing direct buyout and growth equity investments in media, entertainment, communications and business services companies. Earlier, he spent two years at Banc of America Securities in its industrials investment banking group executing a variety of transactions, including leveraged buyouts and debt & equity capital raising activities. Michael began his professional career as an analyst in Deloitte’s structured finance group, focused on CDOs, following a period of time in Nepal as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Michael received an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BBA from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
