With more than 24 years of leadership experience in both Fortune 500 and start-up companies, Michelle Greer brings to each engagement keen insight, new ways of thinking, and a global perspective on issues rooted in real business needs. Her background spans across high tech to retail and lifestyle industries, where she has integrated business planning, talent and performance management, compensation strategies, and executive development into on-going organizational processes among multiple enterprises. Michelle also has significant experience working with management teams of entrepreneurial companies, both in very early and more mature phases of the business. Michelle has partnered with and coached successful CEO’s, CFO’s, and other executives to become even better at what they do, working with them to increase profitability through reducing costs, growing revenue, and getting the best out of their people. Michelle also served on the boards of early-phase start-up companies and non-profits, where she has focused on advising executives on leadership, operational, and management issues. Michelle served for six years as the Vice-President of Human Resources for SkyStream Networks in Sunnyvale, CA, where she built the entire HR function including compensation and benefits programs, executive compensation, stock programs, employee relations policies, management development, staffing processes, and organizational effectiveness. She is a seasoned veteran of volatile business cycles. During the technology meltdown of 2001, for example, Michelle initiated and led workforce balancing programs which resulted in a company that not only survived but thrived through the downturn and retained key leaders and top employees while maintaining business goals. Michelle is certified in the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator, the Emotional Intelligence Inventory (EQi), and the PDI Profilor.
