Dr. P. Bhattacharya, Jt. Managing Director,joined the Usha Martin Group in 1998. He did his M. Tech. in Design Engineering and Ph. D in Solid Mechanics from IIT, New Delhi. He has over 37 years of experience of managing large industrial enterprises. Before joining the group, he worked as General Manager (Marketing) of National Aluminum Company, was Chief Executive of Exports of Indal and Chief Operating Officer of Essar Steel. He is a Committee Member of Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
