Bio

Is currently the Chief Investment Officer and a board member of AVMS. Based out of Chennai, he oversees new investments and support to existing portfolio companies for both the microfinance and SME funds. He also serves on the board of Vaatsalya, Servals Automation and Grameen Koota. Pradeep has been associated with Aavishkaar since its inception in early 2002 and has over 14 years of operational and investment experience in sectors including farming and allied activities, agro processing, ICT, renewable energy, manure and fertilizers. Earlier, he worked for a period of six years with Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals Ltd, where he was closely involved in the financial structuring for new greenfield sugar projects, valuations and takeovers as well as with a VC funded refined sugar project in Vietnam. He started his career at Apple Credit Corp Ltd, focused on hire-purchase and leasing of automobiles.
