Since joining Norwest Venture Partners in 1998, has focused primarily on enterprise software and communications technologies. Has also worked with such companies as Embark, Escalate, mPower (acquired by Morningstar), Quantum Effect Devices (acquired by PMC-Sierra), Silicon Access, and Summit Microelectronics. Has nine years of operational experience in various roles, from engineering to marketing and product management. Before joining NVP, Bob was at Silicon Graphics. Prior to Silicon Graphics, Bob worked at IBM-ROLM Systems. Sits on the board of mBlox (formerly MobileSys) and Occam Networks. Formerly a member of the board of directors of Covigo (acquired by Symbol Technologies) and Resonext Communications (acquired by RF Micro Devices). BSc in Electrical Engineering; MSc in Electrical Engineering; MBA - all from Stanford University.
