Bio

Bob is a founding Partner of Chicago Growth Partners. Prior to founding CGP, Bob was a Managing Director at William Blair Capital Partners and, currently, is a Managing Director and member of the Board of Managers of WBCP VI and VII. Bob spent six years as a Partner in the Private Markets Group at Brinson Partners, Inc. in Chicago. Prior to Brinson Partners, Bob worked as an Investment Manager at Wind Point Partners, a Chicago-based venture capital firm. Early in his career, he was with the State of Illinois Equity Investment Fund and Business Innovation Fund. Select current and past directorships include: Carpathia Financial Services, Contractors Labor Pool, Cypress Medical Products, DJ Pharma, Engineered Materials Corporation, HouseValues, INSCO, Penda Corporation, PRIMIS Marketing Group, SilverTrain, The Plastics Group and Union Corrugating Company. Bob holds a BA in Economics from Miami University and a MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
