Sean M McNally

Bio

Sean McNally has spent his entire career in the middle market. As Managing Director with Prairie Capital, he is responsible for sourcing and evaluating potential investments, leading due diligence, structuring and negotiating transactions, and managing portfolio company investments. Sean currently serves on the board of directors for Captek Sofgel Inc., Chicago Deferred Exchange Company, Double E Company, Northfield, and Plastimayd. In addition, Sean’s portfolio responsibilities and board observation roles include Titanium Solutions and ProVest. Prior to joining Prairie Capital in 2004, Sean was an Analyst in the Business Services Group in the corporate finance department of William Blair & Company, focusing on mergers and acquisitions advisory services and public and private equity financings. In addition to his responsibilities at Prairie, Sean and his wife have been active supporters of a variety of volunteer and fundraising services, including Lekotek, an organization supporting interactive play experiences for children with special needs, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Sean graduated with honors from the University of Illinois with a BS in Finance. He received his MBA and graduated with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He lives with his wife and daughter in the near West Side of Chicago.
