Spencer Skinner

Bio

A private investor for many years, both personally and on behalf of others. Started career as an investment manager at Johnson Fry with responsibility for appraising and completing early stage investments. Spent five years at Price Waterhouse in the business advisory group working with a focus on SME and consumer product clients. In 1996 joined CMI, an early stage IT market research and online database business as a founder director. Between 1998 and 2000 launched an online careers advisory and niche recruitment business and consulted to a number of internet startups and investors about their businesses. From 2000 to 2003 worked as a director of iMPOWER Group plc, latterly as CEO. Throughout that time had responsibility for a small venture fund, and completed a number of investments. Currently a non-executive director of Deliverance, UKprocure, iMPOWER Group plc and has sat on the board of a number of other Companies. BA in History from Bristol University and he is a Chartered Accountant.
