Altair Assumpção

Bio

Altair Assumpção is a senior executive from the financial market with more than 35 years of experience and a successful career, having worked as a Director at Banco Real and Santander. He was a pioneer in the integration of sustainability in this industry, adding value to bank customers and creating new business models. He is the co-founder of Sustainable Hub, a company dedicated to advise sustainable businesses on innovation. He was President of New Ventures Brazil, a non-profit initiative focused on entrepreneurship and innovation for sustainability, where he also served as a member of Steering Committee of Social Enterprise Platform Action Hub, an initiative of the United Nations (UN) Global Compact. He also served as director of the Brazilian Council for Sustainable Development (CEBDS), and was the godfather of the Human Diversity Committee led by Banco Real. Altair is currently a Board Member of TECVERDE Company, an Endeavor Mentor, advisor at Ágora Tech Park and a visiting Professor of the MBA course on Creative Entrepreneurship in the University of Cordoba in Argentina.
